This is a visual aid I use in my classroom to help students learn and know how to write a sentence. It includes 5 steps: 1. Think of your sentence 2. Say it three times (so the students will remember it) 3. Count the words (so we know how many our sentence should have) 4. Begin to write 5. Go back. This is the second in the Units of Study grade My goal is to actually read these cover to cover this year. I have the same comment as the first book. there is a lot of great stuff in here, but you have to read through a lot of Lucy Calkin's personal story to get there/5.
